How to get there

By air:

The main international airport is Malpensa (Milan Malpensa, code MXP). It's a two runway airport, well connected to the city centre by public transportation.

Linate Airport (Milan Linate, code LIN) is a one-runway airport closer to the city than Malpensa.
You can find just outside the terminal building bus stop for line 73. This goes to Piazza San Babila, in the city centre, which is served by the Underground service M1.

Malpensa Express trains leave every 30 minutes from the Airport and arrive at Stazione Cadorna after 40 minutes.

Some budget airlines fly into Orio al Serio Airport, about 45 km north-east of Milan near the city of Bergamo.

This railways network connects Milan to northern suburban areas and to the Lakes district (Laghi, Varese, Como, Novara, Brescia).
